Creative Media Project: Paradigm's and SWOT.

As I've mentioned in a previous post before diving into this project there are certain skills and knowledge I need to know one of these things being subject paradigm's. " A Paradigm is a set of theories and assumptions that comprise a worldview, or developed framework that informs action." (Study.com, 2022). From my understanding there are two main types of paradigms; personal paradigms and subject paradigms. Personal paradigm's can be broken into categories; attitudinal, ideological, philosophical and religious all of which use this "worldwide" view point. However there are many terms that fit under subject paradigms for example; semiotics, content analysis, qualitative research, media analysis and much more. Now knowing about paradigms I can use them to help develop research for my project.

SWOT analysis is something you do to help put things into perspective a way of doing self-analysis. It stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Once choosing my main idea I will complete a SWOT analysis to take into consideration everything about what could be involved or happen. I would consider a SWOT analysis to be a very important part of the beginning process within the project and something that will help me along the way.
