Professional Practice: Moving forward

As I mentioned I wanted to have a slightly more creative involvement so I contributed content to the about page. Below is both my draft version and the final version which incorporated my draft. As well as this I also ensured that everyone's content was collected for both social media and the catalogue. Below I have also included what I uploaded for my catalogue age, I wanted to show a a diverse representation of my skills which included photography, story boards and a insight to some creative writing I did. I feel that this will effectively show that I have adaptable skills that can be used in the creative industries.

Welcome to Creative Pixels 22!

A Worcester University Degree show from Creative Media students. This exhibition shows photography to graphics and everything in between revolving around the creative world and industries. Our creative display of work is something we as a group have worked hard on, from a collective effort for the exhibition to our individual effort with our own work.

The journey from Creative Chapters to Creative Pixels is one we hope you recognize as not only a way to progress in our exhibition but to highlight how we have all developed and progressed during our time studying.

As we finish our journey as students and begin our journey in the professional world, we wanted to take the time to thank people involved in our journey. We would like to thank our lecturer Helen Holmes for all the support throughout the preparation and running of this exhibition, as well as the tech team who have also helped throughout the entire duration. Most importantly thank you for taking your time to look at our work.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we did to make it.

As soon-to-be graduates of BA Hons Creative Media, we would like to introduce you to our Degree Show, Creative Pixels 22. Our skills know no boundaries - from photographers to videographers, designers to content creators, and everything in between, you are sure to come across a wide range of creatives during our Degree Show.

As the creative industries grow, we grow, much like the transition from our last show Creative Chapters, which was held at Worcester Cathedral. We have all developed our skills and creative knowledge and are happy to have the opportunity showcase these to you. Throughout our studies we have had amazing opportunities to work with a range of industry professionals, local and national, giving us a great insight into working to a professional industry standard.

We have enjoyed working closely with our peers from our Department, and together with our work we feature BA Hons Animation, BA Hons Film Production, BA Hons Journalism and BA Hons Screenwriting.

As we near graduation we would like to reflect on our journey as upcoming professional creatives. We would like to thank all our Course Lecturers and the technical team, who have supported and inspired our learning over the past three years. A special thanks goes to our Course Leader Helen Holmes, who has helped us prepare for our careers and the production of this show. Most importantly, thank you, for taking the time to look through our work. We hope you enjoy the exhibition as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
