Professional Practice: the goal

With most things set and in place in terms of show prep and all that's really left is the actual set up I feel this is a good time to reflect and set a personal goal for what I want to achieve through this exhibition. For the last event I feel that I effectively engaged with those who attended and effectively presented the event as a whole; this is something that I want to carry over but also use this skill to present myself and my work rather than just the event. My personal goal is to be able to present my work confidently and be able to leave a good impression as a result of this. I also want to use this opportunity to build up skills in networking, with industry people attending the event I an use this as a way to potentially built up connections which could be beneficial in the long run.

Not only is this show use to promote ourselves to the professional world but it is also a celebration of what we have achieved so far and I want to take the time to appreciate all the work I have created as well as what everyone else has done over the 3 years.

I would personally like to thank all the lectures over the years for firstly being able to put up with me but most importantly for being so supportive through out my university journey. I can safely say without these lecturers and their knowledge I would still be unable to do the most basic of things in the creative world. I would also like to thank my class mates and close friends that have helped me through a lot both personally and academically; I would also like to congratulate them on their amazing work too. Would also like to thank my family for all their efforts and for helping me with several of my projects and for all the support they have given me. Another thank you to everyone who has been involved in this journey, you have helped me become who I am today and hope that I continue to grow and make you proud.
