The experience learning cycle

The experience learning cycle is an idea that divides the learning process up into different theoretical components. Four ways in which the journey of learning can be broken down into for better understanding. The image below is the cycle.

After looking at the experience learning cycle I looked at my own learning cycle/process and how I deal with academic and creative projects. During this process I found how research is a critical point to my successful and best learning. So this is something that I will need to continue throughout my studies. Everyone in my group did a poster to show how they learn best and it was interesting to see how different everyone's approach is. This task helped me understand that everyone has their own starting point when it comes to their own learning and this understanding will be useful for any group projects that may occur as well as something to take forward into the career world.

As well as having a process another thing that is important is a good learning environment, again this can differ for everyone and is something that needs to be thought about for successful studying.
