The Interim Show: Finally revealed

Set up:

The day before the event was an exciting day; this was where we got to see how everything looked before revealing it to the guests. A small team of students helped with the set up to make sure it was successful; my main role in the set up was to make sure that everyone we needed had shown up as well as all the equipment and resources we needed. As well as organizing I also helped with the physical set up; I created the present display where some of the tablets were doing the credits as well as showing our branding, I also helped by putting the tablets and profile boards onto the wall where everyone's show reels and information was displayed and I also helped move around some of the equipment to where it needed going/clean up, just general assistance to the set up. Everyone involved communicated effectively and had a clear understanding of what our goal was which made the whole process very easy.

The event:

After everyone's hard work the exhibition finally took place on the 14th December 2021 between the hours of 10 and 4. All the rooms were effectively lit to make the immersion into the digitalized winter wonderland more effective. With a range of guests from students and gradates to local businesses in the creative industries we gained a lot of feedback that we can take and use for the next chapter of the event. Overall, I feel the event went extremally well and was enjoyable for both students and guests.

My show Reel:

For the exhibition we all had to create a show reel to present any work we have created, because I haven't collected any footage or interaction with presenting I decided to show off my photography as well as a small section of a music video I created using visual effects. I decided to do this as photography is a passion and hobby of mine and is something I use to get inspiration for anything I do; so though it was relevant to show this as it shows a bit of my personality within each piece.
