Still wanting to learn new skills and use new mediums within my work I attended a print workshop to gain knowledge on a type of printing I have never done. During this workshop I specifically focused on Gelly plate printing and in particular I focused on experimenting with transfer printing. For this experimentation I use magazine cut-outs and various colours of acrylic paint for these prints. I noticed that the monochrome pictures transferred better that an image with lots of colour so if I were to continue using this as a medium I would make sure that my work would be high contrast to increase the quality of the print. The images below are the prints from my experimentation which vary in style and quality however for all of them I tried to incorporate elements that link to my topic so that I could see how they could work together. I think that this was effective as I got to see how I could incorporate my poetry into this style of practical work.
After doing this experimentation I think I may continue it however I will try and transfer some digital art to include the skills that I used in last semesters project. This is something that I will need to play with to see if the quality is as consistent as the stronger contrast images.

Prints are in the pdf below. Quality was lost in the scan but still effectively demonstrate the points above.
